What brought them to us
The family wanted to experience Chinese medicine together while visiting Shanghai. Each of them arrived with something slightly different — tension and stiffness for one, sleep quality for another, and general energy for the third — and they wanted the experience to be shared rather than clinical.
What we arranged
We arranged back-to-back consultations at a partner clinic so the family could stay together throughout. Each received individual pulse and tongue diagnosis, followed by treatment tailored to their own pattern — a combination of acupuncture and tuina — with the physician explaining each step in English as they went.
What happened
What struck the family most was how personal each consultation felt despite being arranged as a group. They left with individual guidance for each person and a shared sense of having understood something new about how Chinese medicine reads the body.
In their words
It felt personal for each of us, even though we came together.
