What brought them to us

C. had spent about eight years eating only one main meal a day. Over time she noticed persistent fatigue and hair loss, along with long-standing tension across her shoulders and neck, and found it difficult to eat anything in the morning. She had been curious about Chinese medicine for a while, but assumed it would not be accessible to her in English.

What we arranged

We arranged a consultation with Dr. Eileen at one of our partner clinics, hosted end-to-end in English. The session began with tongue and pulse diagnosis, followed by personalised facial and body acupuncture, and ear acupressure using ear seeds. Dr. Eileen talked through dietary guidance in detail, and the visit finished with a hands-on herbal tea blending experience — astragalus, red dates and mulberries — which C. took home as a customised formula.

What happened

C. came away with a clear picture of how her long-term eating pattern related, in TCM terms, to her energy and blood reserves — and how that connected to the fatigue and hair loss she had noticed. She was visibly relaxed after the acupuncture and reported noticeably more release on the treated side of her shoulders. She left with the herbal tea formula and a set of practical daily recommendations.

In their words

I'm really impressed by how just by looking and judging just those, we can say that many things about the health of someone.
I feel like relaxed. Especially with the ear seeding.
I saw the stories and I was like, did it exist in Shanghai? I was looking for a place to come for the Chinese medicine and everyone told me, don't go because they only speak Chinese.
Thank you very much, doctor. I'm really willing to improve my health.
